Anita has been Vicar of St Hugh's Church since 2014. She initially trained and worked as a teacher before preparing for ordination. She served in two parishes in South London for 10 years followed by 14 years in Kenya, where she was a mission partner with the Church Mission Society. Anita is married to Colin and they have two adult children and a black cocker spamiel called Alfie who you might just spot charging around Crouch Hill! Anita is also a regular visitor to Queensway Primary School where she also serves as a Governor
Colin is married to Anita and works for the Church Mission Society in Oxford where he is involved in education and training. He is also licensed to St Hughs and spends one day a week working in the parish. He is a member of Banbury Community Action Group and is an enthusiastic, if somewhat incompetent, gardener.

St Hugh's Church Easington
St Hugh's Church was established in the 1930s as a daughter church of St Mary's Banbury. It was built in order to serve the community in the Easington area and offer a place of welcome and worship. We continue to do that to this day, although the population of the parish has grown considerably over the years with the expansion of the town.
People gather on Sunday mornings for worship, and we warmly welcome any visitors or newcomers to the area. We hold an all age Cafe Style Service once a month, usually on the first Sunday of the month. There is usually a craft activity and plenty of other things going on.
If you are thinking about having a child christened, getting married or having your marriage banns called, we would be delighted to be involved. Please contact Anita on 01295 369021 or email at email@example.com .
Our facilities which include a hall, a lounge, and a kitchen, are used by many community groups. Church Hall bookings may be made through Anita on 01295 369021.
